New Web Site. Quick post.

Sugar and Spite now officially resides at either sugarandspite.net or horriblyadorable.com . I'm not changing the name of the business - I just really really wanted a dot com and sugarandspite com was taken. Both addresses lead to the same page. And there are links to pretty much every social media site I participate in (and more coming). I'll be adding to the site whenever I find time. :-)  I hope you're all having a a wonderful end - of - weekend before the dreaded Monday begins.

Cheers!!!

The Future of Sugar and Spite and the Nonsense Emporium

Hi guys!!! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to write this blog. Every day I mean to do it, and then time gets away from me and before I know it it's 11pm.

I've gotten a lot of emails and messages asking about the future of the business. It's no secret that much of the product has gone missing, and I'm writing this blog to clear everything up and dispel rumors that I'm closing up shop.

For the past 7 years, sewing and doll/creature-making has been something I did either for gifts, or as a leisure activity when I wasn't making perfume and soap. Occasionally I would sell one, but it was never anything I put a whole lot of effort into. I found it incredibly grounding and relaxing and I LOVE to do it. Recently, when the post office decided to raise rates again, and I was faced with a diminishing income because people were no longer ordering anything "heavy," I relied on my old standby - the creatures. I had NO IDEA what the future would hold with these lil guys. WOW!!!! I am stunned by the response to the dolls. Completely speechless. They've actually become collectible (ummm....wow again) and are selling out faster than I would have ever dreamed possible. As a result, I have decided to move forward and devote much more time to them.

What does this mean for S&S and my loyal perfume customers? Well, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is, I will no longer be offering lotions, salts, scrubs, soaps, or anything other than perfumes. I'm considering perhaps offering those items seasonally, but haven't quite made up my mind yet. The good news? A lot of the old favorites will be making an appearance. I am currently going to all my suppliers and buying all the components to bring back most of the old perfumes. :-) Currently in the lineup is:

1891
Agatha
Annabelle
Aurora
Baltus
Black Jack
Brom
The Histoire (Lust) Trio
Isabella
Maximo
Natalie
Athelia (reformulated)
Cleo
Lavinia

Did I miss anything? Drop me a line at sugarandspite@ymail.com if there's anything you'd like me to include that I haven't.

So that's the latest news. As soon as I get all the components, you will begin seeing these scents hit the shop!

Have a great night!!

Lysa
